Juakali Terminates His ‘Political Marriage’ With Wangamati, To Announce Next Move

A popular artist turn politician David Barasa commonly known as Webuye Juakali has disengaged from Bungoma county governor Wycliffe Wangamati.

Barasa cited frustrations where he has been labelled by his colleagues as a mole and a close ally of the county boss.

The second term Kimilili ward MCA observed that despite being a close ally of the County CEO he hasn’t benefitted from any visible projects in his ward.

“Instead I have created enmity with my colleagues and believe am a mole who steaks their secrets and feeds it to the boss, am hurt and frustrated in equal measures,” revealed Barasa.

The youthful politician, in a video doing rounds on social media, claims that he has been promised heaven by Wangamati but he still lives on earth.

“People think that I have benefitted a big deal from my close association with the County boss, let me tell you, the guy is very mean and wouldn’t wish to grow any other person from himself,” noted the ward leader.

A visibly agitated MCA added, “I have been the water committee chairman in the assembly, a role I was stripped off because of supporting Wanganati, look, he promised me Sh2 million to support my August polls campaigns but he no longer picking calls, I wish I knew,”.

He stated that majority residents think that he benefitted from limotole (Cash) from the governor but the truth is he hasn’t.

“I will address the press on 10th March and tell you the political direction I will take, for your assurance and without sense of panic, I no longer support Wangamati, he is a bad leader,” he concluded.

In 2016, the MCA was in the news for all the wrong reasons after his naked photo circulated on social media causing a frenzy.
