Garissa town MP Aden Duale has accused ODM leader Raila Odinga for what he termed pretence.

The outspoken lawmaker maintained that Raila is the deep state’s project and Kenyans won’t tolerate such mischief.

“Raila you are a project, you have the true definition of a senior project, Kenyans have the right to democratically elect a president as per the 2010 constitution thus a project has no space in today’s democracy”, he said.

Speaking at a Kenya Kwanza rally at Thiba North Grounds in Kirinyaga county on Saturday afternoon, Duale directly launched yet another cold war with Raila as he dared him to publicly deny the sentiments.

“Raila is the biggest threat to devolution and a big number of his campaign brigade are the KEMSA billionaires who looted our Covid 19 funds, I dare him to deny”, he added.

It was a moment of political mayhem as Duale seemed determined to direct a cold battle to Raila’s presidential bid.

In what also seemed as an indirect attack on president Uhuru Kenyatta, he pleaded with the president to keep off his succession politics.

“Uhuru we beg you to leave politics peacefully and go home and enjoy your pension package the same way retired presidents Moi and Kibaki did”, he noted.

According to Duale, Raila has nothing new to offer to offer to Kenyans and he has capitalized on the handshake to fool president Uhuru Kenyatta.

ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi who also graced the be occasion maintained that his unity with DP Ruto is solely based on the interests of Kenyans, nothing else.

“We want a United government because an incoherent government is dangerous, this government is not functioning the way it should be because of too much loans from IMF”, he said.

Mudavadi expressed confidence that the DP Ruto’s brigade will win the August polls in the first round because there is no money for staging a run off.

The podium was hot on the heels as dozens of DP Ruto’s lieutenants took on Azimio la Umoja counterparts who were attending a parallel rally in the neighbouring Murang’a county.

Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula, Malala MP Malulu Injendi and Vihiga county woman representative were among the politicians present.
