One of the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals has vowed never to support Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga.
Ford Kenya party leader Moses Wetang’ula says that Raila is a leader who cannot be trusted at all with this country’s leadership.
He has been sending emissaries for us to join his Azimio la umoja bandwagon but his planned deal can’t succeed at all.
“Oka leadership is intact and we shall soon name our presidential candidate, we won’t support a person who can kick you out any time as soon as he ascends to power,” he said.
He added, “Raila has no respect for other leaders, he only uses them to achieve something and once he gets it he will always dump you,”.
Addressing mourners at Mukhweya village in Kabuchai constituency, Bungoma County at the Weekend, Wetang’ula noted that he sold his family property to stand and support Raila but he finally betrayed him.
“I won’t support Raila come what may be, I will support an OKA presidential candidate that will be picked very soon,” he said.
The Bungoma Senator recalled how he was kicked out of the Senate minority position by the Odinga’s architects and it was later awarded to Siaya senator James Orengo.
“How do you expect me to support him again, he betrayed me and I don’t want to talk more about the unfortunate incident which left me scarred,” stated the legislator.
The Bungoma senator stated that very soon the OKA wave will sweep across the country and asked Kenyans to support them achieve their political goals.
Wetang’ula also urged Kenyans to register in large numbers as voters so that they can be able to make the right decision in August.
“IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati has extended the registration period, take the advantage to register in large numbers as voters,” said the law maker.
