Ndivisi Ward Super MCA Aspirant Amos Wekesa Nyongesa commonly known as ‘Sauti Ya Mnyonge’ set to join Ford Kenya or any party that is most likely to be affiliated to Azimio La Umoja.

In a one on one interview he emphasized that “Politics is local” and that he is looking forward to working with local party leaders and team that will most likely form the next Bungoma Government.

Ndivisi ward in Webuye East constituency has seen a beehive of campaign activities with several aspirants trying their best to entice themselves into the hearts of voters.

This is after the current ward leader Martin Pepela Wanyonyi alias Investor having announced his bid to go for the parliamentary seat.

Investor has made it clear that he wants to take over from the incumbent Alfred Sambu.

One such a leader is Mr. Amos Wekesa Nyongesa commonly known as Sauti Ya Mnyonge who has announced his intention to take over from Mr.Wanyonyi.

Sauti ya Mnyonge has been very instrumental in initiating many development projects and supporting community projects that has endeared him to the community.

Speaking to Horizon News, Sauti ya Mnyonge stated that he saw the need to represent Ndivisi ward in the Bungoma County Assembly so that he can raise important bills that will help the common Mwananchi.

“The ward has lagged behind in terms of development, it is high time I want to elevate my people’s lives, I guarantee them a better and changed life if am elected in August,” he said.

The aspirant who is yet to name the party he will use, says that he intents to join Azimio La Umoja soon because the future of the country lies there.

Sauti ya mnyonge is known across Ndivisi ward for empowering Women and Bodabodas groups.

On matters of Education, he has been following up and ensuring that needy cases get bursaries from Both NG-CDF and County Govt Ward based bursaries.

“At personal level too I have been paying school fees for some students who would otherwise have dropped out of school because of the high level of poverty,” he said.

Nyongesa has also been on forefront to champion for fair and equitable resources within the 7 Sub- Locations in Ndivisi Ward by both the National & County governments.

“I have also been funding Mama Mboga’s and other Jua-kali groups who are vulnerable members of the community who need capital injection to boost their businesses,” said Nyongesa.
