Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has sent his condolence message to the family, relatives and friends of Mama Anna Nabulindo, mother to Busia Municipality Manager Kenneth Nabulindo.
In his message, H.E Ojaamong described the late Mama Nabulindo, 86, as a humble woman who out of love for God donated her land to the Anglican Church of Kenya, that gave rise to Alupe ACK Church.
The deceased son Ken Nabulindo said her mother had blood pressure which she managed well since 2006.
“Her health became complicated last Wednesday when she developed low blood pressure. We took her to Alupe hospital where she was diagnosed to be having malaria and blood infection and low blood pressure,” he said.
He went on; “The doctor prescribed medication but recommended we admit her for overnight observation at Amane clinic Burumba Busia. But at Amane clinic her condition deteriorated and a CT scan was recommended which opted us to transfer her Busia County Referral Hospital on Friday.”
The CT scan was done on Friday and results released on Saturday which indicated partial blocked head veins to the brain, an indication she suffered a stroke.
She was put on oxygen when her condition deteriorated. She passed on a few minutes passed 5pm on Monday.
