Two Bungoma leaders bitterly engaged in political verbal exchange on matters OKA and Luhya unity.

Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati had dismissed One Kenya Alliance (OKA) leaders as a bunch of confused leaders.

While responding, Kabuchai Mp urged Wangamati to respect OKA leaders and stop dismissing the Luhya unity.

Wangamati said that OKA leaders including ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka Kanu boss Gideon Moi, Moses Wetang’ula of Ford Kenya and Cyrus Jirongo don’t understand what they want in life.

“OKA is a group of a divided house, this why they are so confused to an extent of failing to announce who will lead them as a presidential candidate,”.

Kalasinga hit back at Wangamati calling him a hypocrite and an enemy of Luhya unity.

“Wangamati, you are the only leader in Western region who is against the Luhya unity, our other leaders are supporting it but you are busy castigating them, we won’t allow you to continue chiding at them,” he said.

Majimbo who is the close ally of Wetangula called on Wangamati to be patriotic enough by supporting OKA leaders whose majority are Luhyas instead of supporting leaders from other regions.

Wangamati further dismissed the Luhya unity adding that it is unachievable at the moment.

“OKA leaders have even failed to choose a presidential candidate, how can Musalia, Wetang’ula and Jirongo talk of the Luhya unity, let’s stop some jokes,” he said.

Speaking when he joined the family and friends of Edduh Simiyu in Ranje Village in West Sang’alo Ward for a fundraising towards funeral expenses Mama Florence Simiyu, Wangamati stated that the 2022 presidential race is between two leaders.

“The only serious Presidential candidates is between United Democratic Alliance party leader William Ruto and Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga, the rest are Donkeys,” said the county boss.
