As 2022 beckons, the political competition in Bumula continues to narrow down as politician Jack Wamboka takes his campaign agenda a notch higher.
Wamboka who appears Bumula’s favorite to capture the seat has pegged his campaign on issues based politics using education, housing, mama mbogas empowerment and health areas to touch lives.
On Thursday, Wamboka and his team delivered a record 10 houses to needy families and completely changed their lives.
The houses were built in Bumula, Khasoko, West Bukusu, South Bukusu, Kimaeti and Kabula wards.
Through the program dubbed Ondoa nyasi na Wamboka, the team identified needy families and offers to put roofs on their heads.
The houses build included: Phelistus Kibili- Mwomo and Janet Nasambu- Machwele In west Bukusu, Maragoli wanayonyi- Bumula ward, Wilberforce kakai- mabusi, Pamela Ajale- khayo village.
Others are Mediline Nafula Lumumba- Tabuti, Naliaka Makokha Kele-syekumulo, Benjamin Omina -naluende,Khasoko Ward, Fredrick Wanyonyi Katami from bitobo village, kimaeti ward and Jentrix maloba from khulwanda Mungore village in khasoko ward.
Mama Mediline nafula from Tabuti was thankful to Wambo for the life changing support that has made her house conducive.
“I never imagined I will have a mabati roofed house in my life due to my state. God came through Wamboka and he has build me a house, I am grateful and pray that God answers his wishes so that he continues to help.more Bumula people. “She said.
Wamboka has so far build over 70 houses and hopes to continue doing more to ensure Bumula people have better households.
“It’s my dream that we make living standards of our people better, the little I get and the support of friends I invest in Bumula people who have made me who I am.” Said wamboka.
At the same time, Wamboka cleared school fees for 6 students of South Bukusu ward schooling in various schools in the ward and across.
The bank slips were presented to the school principal and his message to the students was that they should focus on studies and come back better to help build their families, communities, Bumula and Kenya.
Don’t fall into the peer pressure of burning schools and demonstrating, instead, focus your energies on your studies, be motivated by your challenges and come out a victor to make us proud,” he said.
Wamboka added, “I will be visiting the beneficiaries in their schools and homes to follow up on their progress and we’ll being because, education is our only equalizer.” Said Wamboka.
Through this key programs, wamboka has made the incumbent MP weakened especially after word went viral that he swindled ironsheets given to him by Defence CS Hon Eugene Wamalwa.
In addition, many Bumula students have been crying out for missing out on CDF bursaries with word around that the MP gives foreigners bursaries at the expense of deserving cases of Bumula.
Wamboka appears on the frontline to capture the seat that been elusive to him for a while and such programs have placed him as the best alternative leader for Bumula.
