The Busia Department of Health and Sanitation has received donations of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and Stationery from the Global Implementation Solutions (GIS).
The consignment was handed over to Chief Officer Public Health, Jonathan Ino by Leila Omongo from GIS, at the Busia County Referral Hospital (BCRH).
Ino, who represented Deputy Governor and acting Health Executive, H.E Moses Mulomi said the items will support the Rapid Response Teams (RRT) at the Busia County Public Health Emergency Operations Centre which plays a significant role in strengthening surveillance for the key diseases particularly Coronavirus (Covid-19).
