Mandu Mandu Dismisses Eseli’s Planned Ford Kenya Party National Delegates Conference


Ford-Kenya Party led by the National Organising Secretary Chris Mandu Mandu has dismissed former Secretary general Eseli Simiyu call for National Delegates Conference.

In a newspaper advert on Saturday 9th October 2021, the embattled former SG said “notice is hereby given for the meeting of the national Delegates Congress (NDC) on 6th November 2021 at 9 am at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani, Nairobi,”.

Eseli said the agenda of the meeting will be, preliminaries, adoption of agenda, approval of previous minutes, NDC 2011, ratification of General Council resolutions 2016, election of National officials, acceptance speeches and any other business.

Mandu Mandu said Eseli is a former secretary and on suspension and is acting in contempt of Court.

Mandu averred the party will take legal action against the Eseli faction and use all means to stop the the illegal NDC. 

“We call on our members to remain calm. There is nothing like an NDC called or convened by hon Eseli and election of officials. Our members should not be bothered with that and we will deal with it,” he said.

He added that the Party is firmly under Sen.Moses Wetangula in the One Kenya Alliance.

“Even if Eseli is still party’s secretary general the organs of  the party should have sat set the agendas and the date ,Budget and venue and it cannot be a one man decision,” said Mandu

He called on delegates to stay away from Eseli’s illegal NDC
