National Constituency Fund Director Urges Kenyans To Unite Behind Uhuru And Raila For Development.

By Timothy Wekesa

The National Government Constituency fund director Peter Anyanga has called upon leaders and Kenyans in the country to remain united as the country approaches it’s general elections.

Speaking in Bungoma county when his board toured several schools to access progress of CDF projects in Kanduyi constituency, Anyanga said no level of development can ever be achieved through political intolerance.

“It is high time for all of us to shun name calling, incitement and bad politics the way President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga have done so that we achieve a peaceful and progressive country,” he said.

Anyanga also insisted on the need to support ODM leader Raila Odinga and his ambitions for unity in the country, terming it as an avenue for good politics in the country.

“This will spearhead love for one another which is the ultimate solution to most problems in our country,” he said.

His sentiments were reiterated by Kanduyi constituency MP Wafula Wamunyinyi and his Mount Elgon counterpart Fred Kapondi.

Anyanga assured parents of Moi Commonwealth Primary School that his board will ensure a modern storey classroom is completed to curb the problem of overpopulation.

“Education of our children is among the main priorities of the government, that is why we are going to support Mp Wamunyinyi and other members of assembly in improving learning environment of our children,” he added.

He was accompanied by NG-CDF boards CEO Yusuf Mbuno and other members of national assembly.

It should be remembered that Peter Omondi Anyanga is also a seasoned politician who was elected to serve as Mp of Nyatike constituency in 2007 on an ODM ticket.

He also has a wide experience on governance and management of Government systems.
His call of unity comes at a time when majority of Politicians in Western Kenya are also drumming up support for ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga.
