Grief Engulfs Sirisia As Nandalwe’s Mother Passes On


A top politician in Bungoma County has lost his Mother after a short illness.

Unsuccessful Sirisia constituency Member of Parliament aspirant in previous years Moses Nandalwe is mourning his mother.

Mama Margaret Mutenyo Nandalwe alias POLICE passed on at Nabwala private hospital in Mayanja, Kanduyi constituency.

“Mama passed on Thursday night while undergoing medication at Nabwala private hospital in Mayanja Vitunguu market centre,” read a post by Nandalwe’s Personal Assistant Victor Kerre.

Kerre continued, “Mama passed on one hour after his son was Attacked by goons in Tulienge-Sirisia constituency on his way from Lwakhakha on a meet the people tour,”.

During the incident his convoy was pelted with stones by unknown people with majority of his vehicle’s screens being smashed.

“Go Well Mama, You have surely hit us hard. My heartfelt condolences to my boss Hon Nandalwe and the entire family,” said Kerre.

Another close confidant of Nandalwe Maurine Katila wrote, “I am in deep sorrow for loosing a mother of Sirisia constituency Parliamentary aspirant Margaret Nandalwe aka Police was taken ill the day we had a Nandalwe foundation executive meeting,”

She added, “In the middle of the meeting Nandalwe received a call about his mum and authorized his driver to go rush her to the hospital,”.

Katila averred that they ended the meeting and went straight to where she was hospitalized, the mother was not in any condition that brought death threats, she could speak and express how she was feeling.

“We knew she will be better, but the plans of God is not the plans of man, it is well mama, you have fought your battle and won the race,Rest with the Engels Mum,” she wrote.

Mama Margaret was very instrumental in supporting and shaping Nandalwe’s politics as he campaigned to one day represent Sirisia residents in Parliament.

The flamboyant politician also known as Mr.Money bags has been fighting hard to dislodge the incumbent John Waluke of Jubilee party from power but in vain.
