The recently launched Ondoa Nyasi na Wamboka Initiative continues to reach more beneficiaries as Bumula’s politician Jack Wamboka seeks to capture the elusive seat in 2022.
Anna Bibiana Wandela from Masuno area and Vincent Wanjala Pamba from Namatotoa in Khasoko ward are the latest beneficiaries of the program.
The duo who have been living under the grass thatched houses have had their houses and life changed by the program.
During the construction that was spearheaded by Team Wamboka Mashinani, Mama Bibiana was full of appreciation for the good course.
“Since I was born, this is the best present I have ever received from a politician. I want to offer my blessings and prayers to Wamboka for remembering me. May you never lack so that you keep rising and helping more people,” she said.
In Khasoko ward, Mzee Pamba who now has a 20 iron sheets house to live in couldn’t help but praise the initiative.
“Other politicians will come and give us handouts but this is the best thing for me, I will walk with wamboka and encourage him to keep doing this for more Bumula people because he is the leader we all want,” said Mzee pamba.
Apart from the two houses, Wamboka also donated 40 iron sheets to Namatelema primary school and 60 iron sheets to Sifuniame RC primary school.
The schools lack sufficient infrastructure to offer a conducive learning environment.
The ongoing housing initiative adds to the recently launched NHIF sponsorship program targeting 300 people.
Yesterday wamboka joined locals at Chiliba for the burial of the late Councillor Matere where he reiterated his campaign pillars pegged on health, education, export and housing.
