Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong on Saturday attended the wedding ceremony of Elias Iteba and Mercy Ayuma.

The wedding was presided over by Bishop David Bulimu of the Zion Temple Church at Gospel Restoration Ministry Church in Kajoro village in Amukura Central Ward.
Elias Iteba is a journalist with Busia FM in Busia Town while the bride is a Church leader.
His colleagues including Gaitano Pessa, Zed Odala, Patrick Okumu, Hemsy Sisanya, Selyne Wamala, Seth Ngero, Reuben Olita, Calvin Wanga and Leonard Acharry attended the wedding that was co-assisted by Apostle Edmond Inya of Gospel Restoration Ministry.

The Governor lauded the couple for their union, promising to finance their honeymoon at the venue of their choice.
Apostle Inya and Bishop Bulimu thanked the Governor for honouring the couple by attending their wedding.
The Governor was accompanied by Chief Officer ICT and Communication, Lydia Nabwire.
