The Chief Administrative Secretary, National Treasury and Planning, Eric Simiyu Wafukho, is currently in Western Kenya visiting projects being undertaken by the National Government.

He is touring Western Kenya region and having appreciative inquiry with county governments and other stakeholders on the design ,implementation and expected impact of these projects.
He spent the last two days in Trans Nzoia paying courtesy call on the Governor Patrick Khaemba and County Commisioner where project status reports were shared before field visits.
Some of the projects he visited in Trans Nzoia County included Upgrading of Kitale-Endebess-Suam (C45) Road, the Kitale Airstrip Rehabilitation, the Kaptogot- Kolongolo Water and Kitale Market.
From Trans Nzoia, Wafukho will be headed to Bungoma ,Busia, Kakamega and Vihiga counties before returning to Nairobi.
