Kwanza Sub-Branch FKF league is set to commence on 6th June after all teams confirms participation.

The league shall see all grassroot teams from the entire Kwanza Sub-County compete for the top post
For the 1st time the Title shall have a trophy and Various prizes to be won.
“Grassroot is the starting point to almost all the stars we adore at the national level, that’s why we are committed in development of the young talents and we shall put much of our efforts in developing grassroot football” Kwanza Sub-Branch Secretary General Godricks Wanyonyi said.

He added “We are also appealing to every single sports stakeholder to embrace this league for the benefit of our son’s and daughters, let’s sacrifice to see that we pull a successful league that shall be emulated in the region”
He stated that the league will help in identifying talented players and scouting them for other bigger teams.
“The sport will reduce idleness among youths and it will help reduce crime rates within the sub county hence engaging them in fruitful ventures,” said Wanyonyi.
The Kwanza Sub-Branch League management committee calls upon partners and sponsors to grab the available sponsorship opportunities.
The new Kwanza FKF office is Chaired by Sports Journalist Joshua Rotich, Former Kitale Press Organisation chairman Godricks Kituyi Wanyonyi as the Secretary general, Women Coach Hellen Indusa as the treasurer among others.
