Bungoma: New County Bodaboda leaders Take Office


Boda Boda operators in Bungoma county have elected into office new leaders.

The leadership that will operate under  Bungoma County Boda Boda CBO will spearhead operations of the the transport industry and shape their working relationship.

Majority youths have acquired motorbikes and ventured into the boda body business to beat joblessness.

During the election held on April 22, 2021 various riders were elected into office to represent the interests of other boda bodas to ensure that they reap big from the transport industry.

Alex Kisuya Juma from Kabuchai was unanimously elected the Chairman and will be deputized by  Bernard Machunga from Kanduyi constituency as the vice chairman.

The Secretary position was taken by Andrew Siboe from Sirisia while his Vice will be Milton Maloba from Webuye East.

Treasurer’s post was taken by Alexander Khisa from Tongaren constituency who will be in charge of funds.

“The Organizing Secretary is Benard Wafula from Webuye West constituency while his vice will be Alex Ngeywa from Mt Elgon,” read the communication to the media houses.

The Chief Whip post was clinched by Felix Matayo from Kimilili while Fred Obach from Cheptais is the new Vice Organizing Secretary.

“Enock Wanyonyi Samba, Welfare Chairman from Bumula and Benard Kimokoti advisor from Webuye East,” read the press release.
