A Bumula politician and philanthropist Jack Wanami Wamboka has called on area residents to embrace Covid-19 vaccination program.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has been on the forefront calling on all Kenyans to be vaccinated against the global pandemic covid-19 that has killed over 1,900 people in the country.
Wamboka says that vaccination is the only sure way of stopping the spread of the deadly disease.
Speaking in Sioya on Sunday, team Wamboka led by Wangila Wabomba assured residents that vaccination keeps the disease at bay and improves the body immunity.

“As part of our adherence to Covid_19  protocols, we also took the opportunity to urge  residents to strictly observe  Covid_19 guidelines and seek to benefit form the ongoing Government Vaccination program,” said Wabomba.

He added, “While  observing Covid measures, Wamboka’s team worshipped in different centers within Bumula  constituency,”.
The team toured Sioya Pentecostal church in Kabula ward and ACK church Namusasi in Bumula ward where Palm Sunday preaching was emphasized.

While in Syoya ward, the team joined the residents for a funds drive to purchase  land for the construction of the church. 
“In Namusasi the we joined the residents of Namussasi for a thanks giving mass where Wamboka had been invited as the chief guest,” said Wabomba.
He stated that Wamboka will continue supporting  Bumula  residents in various ways including his Wamboka foundation scholarship programme and going forwards education, health and empowerment.

“The Wamboka foundation is a milestone that has helped the needy cases and kept students in school, we will continue identifying and helping more cases in future,” he said.
