Deputy President William Ruto will join Millions of Kenyans in watching Kenyan national team Harambee Stars vs Egypt game.
The game will kick off today at 7pm Kenyan time and will be played at Kasarani international stadium.
Speaking during an interview on radio Citizen on Thursday, the DP said that he will join other Kenyans in giving morale boost to the home team.
Harambee Stars will be meeting the African giants in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Both the two teams have been categorized in group ‘G’ which also features Comoros and Togo.
Stars coach Ghost Mulee is banking on international player Michael Olunga to win against the Pharaohs as the Egyptian team is commonly known.
Majority Kenyan fans are worried of Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah who will debut in today’s game.
Salah is known for his fantastic tactics and speed and has helped Liverpool to clinch so many titles.
The deputy President said that he will be joining other Kenyan fans to watch the game tonight.
“I know Salah and Mohammed El-Shennawy will feature for Egypt and they are known good players but our team has good players too, we hope to defeat the Pharaohs and move up the group stage,” he said.
Ruto called on Kenyans to be patriotic enough and support Harambee Stars to beat Egypt so that the World can understand that the country has good and talented players.
