A former powerful Bungoma county government employee has been evicted from a county owned house.
The employee who was sacked amongst other two for allegedly pocketing Sh3 million meant for mobilizing youths to cheer the area governor Wycliffe Wangamati during the burial of Kabuchai Mp James Lusweti.
During the burial ceremony, Wangamati was shouted down by county residents when he tried to verbally attack Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala, he wasn’t allowed to address mourners.
The ex employee received a rude shock during the eviction process where his wife with young children were unceremoniously kicked out.
This writer faced the wrath of the county government enforcement officers when he tried to access the facility located in Milimani Estate near Nyota Fm studios.
During the eviction conducted by the county enforcement officers in conjunction with police officers, the said former employee wasn’t around.
Efforts by Horizon News to reach him were futile as he didn’t pick calls nor respond to messages send to his phone.
An enforcement officer who talked to Horizon news writer said that they have a court order that kicks the former employee out because he no longer works with the county government.
