As the 2022 succession politics picks momentum, politicians are now busy planning on how to beat their rivals in the general election.
This is not different in Bungoma and specifically Bumula Constituency where politicians have already hit the road to convince voters to consider voting for them.
Over five people have declared their interests to unseat the current Mp Mwambu Mambongah.
Mabongah is the first time Mp elected on an independent ticket and the Ford Kenya nominations were marred by the alleged rigging.
One of such tough politician is a youthful Jack Wanami Wamboka, Wamboka is giving the incumbent sleepless nights with his education bursary assistance.
On Saturday, he met the Batura clan of Khasoko ward at his residence in Bumula under their request.
Batura Clan of Khasoko ward publicly expressed profound interest to work with Wamboka ahead of 2022 after clearly analysing his agenda for the Bumula people.
John Odongo, the delegation leader said that they have endorsed Wamboka after learning of his people minded manifesto.
“Wamboka is a nice guy who can make a good leader, we are endorsing him after he showed interest in supporting us, we have been marginalized for so long by previous leaders,” he said
Wamboka in his usual quest of promoting education in Bumula, he fully cleared fees for several students including Benjamin Murayi of Mungore boys(an orphan) and subsequently absorbed him in his Wamboka foundation.
The Batura Clan thereafter fully endorsed Wamboka and promised to walk with him to the finish line towards and beyond 2022.
Wamboka has so far paid school fees for over 120 students in the expansive constituency through the Wanami Wamboka Foundation.
He as set aside Sh2 million bursary fund to cater for 300 high school students from vulnerable families
