St Anthony Okatekok and Butula Eagles will seek to maintain their top positions in the Busia County League as the competition enters week two this weekend with nine matches on the card.
Okatekok top Zone A with three points following their 3-0 victory over FC Amagoro at Okatekok Primary School last Saturday. Although Kamolo and Kekalet have three points apiece, Okatekok top the Zone with a superior goal difference.
On the other hand, Butula Eagles have taken an early lead in Zone B with a 4-0 humiliation of Teens of Hope at Nambale AC Primary School ground last Sunday. Like Okatekok, Eagles have superior goal difference compared to Masters and Dragons FC.
Okatekok will be away to high riding Kamolo FC at Kamolo Primary School on Saturday.The hosts bagged three points last weekend after edging Muskoto 2-1 at Musokoto Primary School.
FC Amagoro will be hoping to salvage their reputation when they host Musokoto at Malaba Stadium.
In other Zone A matches scheduled for Sunday, Malaba Giants will host Lupida FC at Malaba Primary School with Kekalet and Boca Junior squaring it out at Kekalet Primary School.
Eagles will host Teens of Hope at Butula Polytechnic on Saturday, hoping to consolidate their winning ways. On the same day, Young Rovers will take on Mungatsi at Otimong Primary while Dragons will host Green Canopy at Nyakwaka Primary.
Leopards star player, Charles Okwemba will lead a star studded Masters FC when they host Ajax at the Busia County Stadium on Sunday. Mabale United
will host Teens of Hope at Mabale Primary School. All matches start at 1:00pm.
