The County Public Service Board (CPSB) through the department of Finance, Economic Planning and ICT is conducting interview for senior accountants and finance officers to boost service delivery.

This is the final batch of recruitment after employment of revenue clerks, economic staticians ,finance and budget officers and Supply Chain Management assistants.

The exercise is expected to take four days occassioned by Government’s protocol on social distancing brought about by Coronavirus (Covid-19).

Addressing the press at the CPSB board room, Ag. CEO Mr Martin Sikolia urged successful candidates to observe high level of work ethics in a bid to improve service delivery.

“This team is expected to boost service delivery in the county and address the shortage of staff we have been experiencing in the line department,” said Sikolia.

The officers who will be recruited on Permanent and Pensionable basis include six different cadres namely Chief Accountant, Finance Officers, Senior Finance Officers, Assistant Accountant, General Principal Accountants and Senior Accountants .

Successful candidates will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of quality management reports;
Planning, directing, coordinating, supervising areas of control;
training and staff development.

They will also undertake ad hoc assignments relating to accounting services; certify and
verify returns, documents, vouchers apart from monitoring collection of revenue including inspection.
