He added, “My Father just confronted me and splashed the unknown chemical on my feet, I saw my feet burning, I haven’t received any medication since then,” narrated Sikuku in his bed while sobbing.

He says that his Father beat him up and further poured a chemical believed to be an Acid which burnt all his legs which have got deep wounds.

The incident which took place on January 10, 2021 has not been highlighted or the victim receiving any medication so far.

He is appealing to well wishers to come in and help him get medication after his father fled after committing the heinous action.

According to his mother Alice Nafula, she doesn’t understand what prompted her husband to take such action instead of just advising her son.

“I am requesting for financial help to cater for her son’s medication, I need him treated, I can’t afford even a single coin now, my son is in real suffering, he cries the whole night,” she said.

Kimilili Mp Didmus Barasa in conjunction with a Kimilili Ward aspirant Felix Matimbai had promised to take the victim to Bungoma County Referral Hospital for medication before the publication of this story.

A community volunteer Wilbroda Situma says she has struggled to have the boy treated and the response had only come from the two leaders.

“The boy is suffering, I hope the response will be positive, he has got deep wounds that have put him in deep trouble,” she said.
