ANC leaders call on Kenyans to support BBI as it propels Mudavadi’s Presidency

Amani National Congress (ANC) party leaders in Western region have vowed to popularize the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) document until it is passed during the referendum.

Addressing the press in Bugoma town, the leaders led by the party executive secretary Western region Martin Waliaula stated that they will always support their party leader to ensure that he wins the presidency in 2022.

“Our party leader supports the BBI document after some of the articles he wanted changed were rectified, let us move with him so that he can clinch the presidency in 2022,” advised Waliaula.

He called on ANC supporters to preach peace and ensure that Mudavadi wins the presidency in the next elections.

Waliaula also asked the Deputy President William Ruto to stop misleading Kenyans about holding the BBI campaigns in 2022 alongside the general elections adding that it won’t make sense.

Western region ANC women representative Agnes Barasa says that they will continue sensitizing residents about BBI document as they drum up support for Mudavadi.

She called on Women to be on the forefront in fighting for their rights in BBI as it proposes for women senators in future.

West Bukusu ward MCA Sospeter Nyongesa asked the BBI secretariat to provide many copies for Kenyans to read and understand before making informed decision.

“Even the county assembly members are yet to get enough copies for them to read, at least I have been sensitized and I will be on the forefront to educate my colleagues before they make their own decisions,” said Nyongesa.

The ward leader called on Kenyans to support Musalia Mudavadi presidency because he has all the qualities that will propel him to State House.

“He is qualified, he supports BBI and therefore let’s support him, he is an economist who will change this country’s fortunes,” he said.
