Eseli, Wamunyinyi dealt a blow as court of Appeal throws out their appeal against Wetang’ula with costs


Ford Kenya party ‘Coup plotters’ have suffered a major set back after they were penalized by the court of appeal.

Tongaren Mp Eseli Simiyu and his Kanduyi counterpart Wafula Wamunyinyi lost in an appeal they had filed at the court of appeal under the certificate of urgency after a three bench judges dismissed it.
The Court of Appeal in an Appeal No. 359 and 361 of 2020 filed by by Dr.Simiyu and Wamunyinyi was thrown out on the spot with costs.

The two had filed the appeals against FORD Kenya party Moses Wetang’ula and Registrar of political parties intending to overturn High Court orders  that barred them from transacting any business on behalf of the party as well holding the illegal much hyped NDC of 21/11/2020 at Bomas of Kenya.
Led by Ford Kenya party attorney Benson Milimo, the party legal team filed responses demonstrating unending illegalities and unauthorized activities by Coup plotters which led to an immediate ruling by the Nairobi Court of Appeal which dismissed the two appeals and directed them to give a detailed reasons on February 19, 2021.

FORD Kenya party remains intact under the leadership of Bungoma Senator Moses Masika Wetang’ula and that in the meantime the duo Eseli and Wamunyinyi remains suspended and have no legal right to transact any business in the party at all.
Eseli and Wamunyinyi moved to the court of appeal under the certificate expecting the court to grant them an opportunity to conduct the National Delegates Conference which was stopped by the high court orders.
Registrar of political parties also directed the duo to respect the high court orders until the matter is heard and determined.
