Wamunyinyi: FK Party National Delegates Council (NDC) meeting will proceed as planned.

The self proclaimed Ford Kenya party leader Wafula Wamunyinyi has said that the party’s National Delegates Council will go on as planned.

Party Secretary Eseli Simiyu advertised for the NDC that will take place on November 21st at Bomas of Kenya.
A faction led by the embattled party leader Moses Wetang’ula has however disputed the planned NDC meeting saying the Wamunyinyi led faction has no authority to call for such a meeting.

Through Chris Mandu Mandu, they argued that the matter is pending in court and Wamunyinyi led faction cannot purport to hold such a meeting.
“It is in contravention of the law and it will amount to undermining the court which stopped them from transacting any business until the matter is heard and determined.
Speaking during the funeral ceremony of the late Mzee Henry Wamukota in Ranje Village Kanduyi, Wamunyinyi pointed out that the new leadership of Ford Kenya believes in democracy and so they will give it’s members an opportunity on the material day.

“Members will get an opportunity to elect their national officials of the party, this is the best way to sell the party,” he said.
Wamunyinyi has added that through the NDC the wrangles that have been witnessed of late in Ford kenya can be resolved amicably.

He added that Ford Kenya will be revamped through his leadership so that they can attract more members.
He said that BBI will guarantee Kenya a peaceful transition after election because of the inclusivity aspect in it.
“BBI will also encourage local and international investors to invest in kenya which will give employment opportunities to our youths and women,” he said.

The Kanduyi Mp eulogized the late as a great leader in the community as a banker and educationist.
“He owned some schools and mentored many, may God give his family strength to bear the loss. Rest In Peace,” he started.
