Amani National Congress (ANC) former Secretary General Godfrey Osotsi is being used by Raila Odinga to scuttle Musalia Mudavadi’s presidential ambitions.
This is according to Adrian Meja, Shinyalu 2022 parliamentary candidate.
Meja told County Splash News that Mr. Osotsi has been paid to cause havoc in the party the way they used Tongaren MP Dr. Eseli Simiyu and Kanduyi MP Wafula Wamunyinyi to oust Moses Wetang’ula as Ford Kenya party leader.
“I find it thoughtless and malicious for one to claim to belong to a party and at the same time rush to TV stations and other media houses to advertise that his party’s life is coming to an end on June 15. What then do you achieve when its life comes to an end?” Mr. Meja. Wondered.

He added: “You and your masters are wishing to send Mudavadi to political oblivion but this will not happen and even if it were to happen, there are many options,”
According to Meja, a political party has the sovereignty to make its own in-house decisions without undue influence, adding that ANC decision to deregister Osotsi as a member of the party is binding and cannot be reversed.
“We have other politicians in the region who are also being used to bring disunity in Mulembe Nation, the likes of Cotu Secretary General Francis Atwoli, Governor Wycliffe Oparanya and Devolution Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa but this will bury their political dreams “said Meja.
Meja said Osotsi has a moral obligation to account for integrity issues that saw him removed as the party’s secretary general and then replaced by Barack Muluka, saying that he should thankful to Mudavadi for giving him a lifeline when he nominated him as a lawmaker.

According to Meja, Raila’s political theatrics to use Luhya leaders to fight their colleagues is unprecedented and that he won’t get the Mulembe nation support as the region is firmly under Mudavadi and Wetang’ula.
“Those rebel MPs in Western Kenya there days are numbered. We know who we are and 2022 we must make Mudavadi as the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya,” said the Shinyalu 2022 MP candidate .
