At least 300 families have benefited from the food donation.

Muslim community in Webuye got a boost after a well wisher donated foodstuffs to them.

Bungoma businessman Stephen Kaisa through his foundation encouraged the muslim faithfulls to put the country in prayers during this difficult moment as it fights COVID-19.

“As you fast and pray during this special month in your calendar,  remember to ask God to relieve the world of this deadly pandemic”, said the foundation Coordinator Isaac Wanjekeche.

He said , the muslim faithfulls have been disadvantaged heavily during this pandemic since they cannot fend for their families and concentrate on fasting protocols.

“That’s the reason we found it wise to  visit and bring you something little for your empty stomachs after a fast,” He said after distributing 100 bales of cooking floor.

The Mosque leadership led by Jamal Mohammed thanked the donors for their generosity.

He however challenged the government to open worship  places to allow Gods intervention during this pandemic.
